Contest
Participate in Teen Tech Week by entering our YouTube Contest! Create a 5 minute film based on either the theme, "Learn, Create & Share @ Your Library" or create a trailer for your favorite book. Entries will be uploaded to the RCPL YouTube Channel.

A theatre style Film Premiere will be held on Friday, March 12. At the premier, all entries will be shown, winners will be announced and prizes will be awarded! 1st, 2nd and 3rd place prizes will be awarded for each category!

How to Enter:
1. Pick up a blank CD and Registration Form at either library or download the printable registration form below and use your own CD.

2. Create a film based on the theme “Learn, Create & Share @ your Library” or Create a trailer for your favorite book

3. Burn your film to a CD and complete a registration form. Turn them in at either library.

Deadline for entry is March 10

Rules:
* You can enter in one of two categories:
Book Trailers or “Learn, Create, Share @ Your Library.

* Only one entry per person and only one name per entry form.

* Prizes will be given to individuals, not groups.

* Film must be 5 minutes of less.

* No lewed, offensive, or inappropriate material or language is allowed.

* You can make your movie in a lot of different ways, so long as they’re legal. You can’t use content made by someone else unless you have permission. If you use content that is in the Public Domain or licensed under Creative Commons, make sure you give credit to who made it.

* You can enlist anybody to be in your movie, but the person who makes it – film, edit, etc. – and who enters it, has to be in 6-12th grade.

Prizes
1st, 2nd and 3rd place prizes will be awarded for each category!

1st place: Digital camera with filming capabilities
2nd place: MP3 player
3rd place: $50 Best Buy gift card
